Brewing Guide

Each tea comes with recommended water volume, water temperature, and steeping time. However, these are just guidelines and not strict rules — you can fine-tune the strength according to your personal taste and gradually find the brewing method that suits you best.

Brew your tea

Different teas have different water temperature requirements. Some teas are best brewed with lower temperature water; water that is too hot can make the tea bitter or lose its delicate aroma. A simple tip: let the boiled water sit for a few minutes before pouring it over the tea leaves, allowing the water temperature to drop naturally. This helps to better preserve the original flavor of the tea leaves.

Let it steep

Steeping time directly affects the taste of the tea. Some teas can become bitter if steeped for too long; however, most herbal teas and mate teas can be steeped for extended periods, even cold-brewed for an entire day, and still retain a mild and smooth flavor.

It is recommended to start with the suggested time for each tea, then adjust according to personal taste.

Most importantly…

Don't be afraid to break the so-called "rules".

There is no single correct answer to drinking tea. Stronger, weaker, with ice, with milk, cold-brewed, or hot-brewed — as long as it's the way you like it, it's the right way.

We hope you truly enjoy the process of drinking tea.
Because tea, ultimately, is meant to make life more comfortable and happier.

Your Tea

We give suggested measures for each of our teas, but that’s really just a rough guide. You can try experimenting with different measurements to find the right ratio for you!

Some of our teas also require cooler water so that you don’t scorch the leaves and make the tea bitter. A simple trick is to let the kettle sit for a few minutes before pouring.

Most importantly… don’t be afraid to break the rules! At the end of the day, it’s about making yourself happy. We want you to enjoy drinking tea – the only ‘right’ way to drink it, is the way you like it best.
